If the letters N-W-O-B-H-M in a review get your attention, then this is for you. Buried By Time And Dust have done another of their typically deluxe vinyl reissues, of an obscure but worthy NWOBHM classic. Lots of NWOBHM bands were "one-hit" wonders, recording a killer single and that's it. Mythra managed a bit more, though their reputation as a long lost legend is primarily based on what was originally a collectible 4-song 7" released in 1979, the Death & Destiny EP. It was later expanded to full-length status with the addition of demo tracks from 1980 and '81, thus this, the full 13 track Death & Destiny LP� And it's all pretty good, mostly on the ripping, rollicking, rough and tumble side of the NWOBHM equation, very much in the vein of somewhat better known acts like Diamond Head, Angel Witch, Blitzkrieg, and Raven. Basically, if you like NWOBHM, you'll like this. Allan's owned the (long out of print) cd edition of Death And Destiny for many years now, and considers it a bit of a prize amidst his NWOBHM collection. This limited edition vinyl reish comes with a 12 page booklet featuring lyrics, liner notes, band interview, and photos. Plus, you get a reproduction of a poster for a gig Mythra played opening for Motorhead, Saxon, Girlschool, Angel Witch, White Spirit, and Vardis in 1980 (wow!). Oh, and for anybody who read this far and is still wondering, NWOBHM stands for the New Wave Of British Heavy Metal!!!
